Evans Distribution Systems Named Top 100 Trucker by Inbound Logistics

MELVINDALE, Mich., October 13, 2025  Evans Distribution Systems, a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain solutions, has been recognized as a “Top 100 Trucker” by Inbound Logistics. This is the second year Evans’ asset-based transportation division, Alden Logistics, was honored with this recognition.

“Alden Logistics has advanced as a transportation leader in the Metro Detroit region for more than 25 years, specializing in just-in-time deliveries that keep the automotive production lines running smoothly as well as drayage and full truckload capabilities,” says Tony Trocki, Vice President of Transportation at Evans Distribution. “This recognition speaks to our commitment to invest in innovative and flexible solutions to meet our customer’s requirements.”

Alden Logistics is a 24-hour, seven day a week operation that includes 110 drivers and 100 trucks. The company provides full truckload, expedite, specialized equipment, and drayage services throughout Michigan and the Midwest.

In addition to operating on a newly adopted state-of-the-art transportation management system (TMS), Evans has recently expanded service offerings focused on its drayage customers. “It’s no secret that the international shipping community has experienced hardships related to tariffs and port complexities,” Trocki says. “We realized the root cause of many shipping challenges were due to a lack of real-time visibility of containers.”

ezTracker was launched this year to address visibility challenges by providing customers and Evans’ dispatch team with 24-hour container tracking data—from port to port. This container tracking data allows Evans to anticipate arrival times and alert drayage drivers when containers reach the yard.

Since its launch, the ezTracker tool has benefited Evans’ drayage drivers to optimize daily routes and delivery schedules. It’s also helped customers reduce extended storage fees and shipment delays. “ezTracker is just another example of Evans commitment to provide superior service that makes everyone’s life easier,” Trocki says.

Inbound Logistics’ Top 100 Truckers list serves as a qualitative assessment of service providers who are best equipped to meet and surpass readers’ evolving transportation needs. Magazine editors selected this year’s class of Top 100 Truckers from a pool of more than 300 companies. The selected providers offer diverse operational capabilities and experience to meet readers’ unique supply chain and logistics needs.

“Strong transportation partners with innovative, data-driven solutions help shippers gain a critical competitive edge,” says Felecia Stratton, Editor of Inbound Logistics. “Evans Distribution Systems consistently identifies ways to reduce the total cost of logistics while maintaining the highest levels of service to the end customer. That’s why Inbound Logistics editors have recognized Evans Distribution as a 2025 Top 100 Trucker.”
