Stock Allocation

Stock allocation is the process of assigning and distributing available inventory to meet customer demand.

Standard Carrier Alpha Code, or SCAC, is a unique two-to-four letter code that is assigned by the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) to identify transportation companies in the United States. It is used to identify carriers in the transportation and logistics industry and is used for tracking and identifying freight shipments and to streamline various logistical processes.

Staging Area

Staging area is the designated area of the warehouse near the loading dock where product is placed or arranged for shipment.
