Evans is proud to announce its full adoption of the Trimble Transportation Management Software (TMS) on both our asset-based and non-asset-based (brokerage) freight operations.
In February of 2025, Evans announced implementation of the Trimble® TMW.Suite™ TMS to address the technical requirements of the Alden Logistics operation including integration capabilities, real-time reporting, digital documentation, route optimization and customer visibility.
Following this successful launch, the team at Evans Logistics Inc., started a similar implementation on the non-asset-based operation. These improvements were much needed to support the flexible services Evans offers customers.
“Evans provides a diverse range of services including LTL, specialized equipment, truckload, drayage, expedites; our services are tailored to the customer,” says Anthony Trocki, Vice President of Transportation at Evans Distribution. “We needed a customizable system that could handle this range of services for every unique transportation customer.”
Among many benefits that Trimble’s TMW.Suite brings, Evans is most looking forward to full integration with other internal systems including accounting, labor management, dash cameras, and its proprietary business intelligence tool known as evans365. The evans365 data portal will now allow warehousing and transportation customers to build personal dashboards and track shipments from dock to delivery. “It creates a new level of transparency across multiple channels that my team and our customers didn’t have access to,” Trocki says.
Also new at Evans Distribution is the latest feature of the evans365 business intelligence tool aimed at alleviating the pain by improving visibility on international shipments. The ezTracker integrates data from a third-party source to provide real-time container positioning. Check out more information on the ezTracker.
