Responsibilities: Pick-up and delivery of truckload freight in the Midwest region.

Requirements: Minimum of 24 years old; minimum of 18 months tractor-trailer experience; meet all DOT requirements; clean driving record; CDL-A

Benefits: .88-.95/per loaded mile and .85/per empty mile; weekly settlements; direct deposit; 100% fuel surcharge; tolls, scales and extra stops paid

Schedule: Varies (Drivers average 1-2 nights home per week)

Logistics Sales Professional
Location: Melvindale, MI (Headquarters)

Experienced logistics sales professional will be responsible for obtaining new business that is aligned with Evans corporate growth objectives. The role requires an individual who can handle varied activities and simultaneous projects with enthusiasm and confidence. The focus in this position will be on achieving results and building relationships with unique innovation, creativity and commitment.

Responsibilities: The identification and qualification of potential customers, arranging sales calls/meetings with potential and current customers, explaining the full range of services offered by Evans, providing consultative logistics solutions to potential and current customers, providing rate quotes/proposals, follow-up required to secure business, and the maintenance of current accounts.

Requirements:
-A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience for a logistics/3PL style company
-Knowledge of regional customer base
-Initiative and a competitive drive
-Ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions
-Strong sales and relationship building skills
-Excellent analytical, communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills
-Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, CRM software)
-4 Year College Degree
