MELVINDALE, Mich., October 23, 2023—Evans Distribution Systems, a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain solutions, has named Dawn Harthun, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Harthun is succeeding former Chief Marketing Officer, Leslie Ajlouny.
In her role, Harthun is responsible for understanding the marketplace and developing new and existing business which meets Evans’ corporate revenue and profitability objectives. In addition, she is responsible for working closely with the operating groups to develop successful, mutually beneficial, long-term customer relationships. Harthun will oversee the Sales & Marketing team to develop strategy and accomplish sales and marketing goals.

Harthun brings extensive experience in operations, project management, international supply chain, and U.S. trade compliance. Harthun began her career in international transportation working for Maersk and UPS Freight Solutions. She spent 20 years at HoMedics, helping them import and export health and wellness products around the world. She also served as the Director of Operations at Art Van and Loves Furniture. Prior to her current role, Harthun served as Director of International Solutions at Evans Distribution Systems.

Dawn attended Schoolcraft College and holds an associate degree in business administration. She and her husband reside in Hamtramck, Mich.
